State of MA v Aaron Hernandez Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez goes on trial Friday for the June 2013 murder of a semi-pro football player, a case that exposed the rich young star's drift into violence and stoked a widening debate about off-the-field behavior of NFL athletes.

So sue the team and the league for him agreeing and signing a multiply million $ deal.

Playing any sport especially a contact sport can cause injury. You deal with it.

I always thought boxing was horrific. How can people step into the ring to get pounded in
the head and not expect damage but people do it all the time.

You sign up for it. If you are injured in normal game play then that's your problem.

I suspected all along that Hernandez had brain damage. Makes me wonder how many others who play football have brain injuries. Hernandez seems to have had signs of brain damage most of his adult life.

Are you suggesting that his playing football had nothing to do with the results of his brain scan? Again, I bet lots of players have some degree of brain damage. Of course they probably don't want to know about it because of the huge amounts of money they make.

I am suggesting the NFL didn't cause his problems and this is a money grab

what's ironic is Baez claims he didn't kill anybody and the girlfriend claimed she didn't believe he killed himself as Baez once also doubted as well
Now its a CTE PAYDAY
Baez is such a sleaze he'd now claim he killed himself twice if he thought it would fly!
