I think schizo is something they are throwing around. possibly for defense. but he is way too organized for schizophrenia. more like psychopath with a head injury to me.

I had previously wondered the same.. The DailyMail seems obsessed with that aspect of the case. Every article they write "schizophrenic" is in the title. :/

He was prohibited from having a gun due to the fact that he involuntarily was committed to a mental heath facility.. It is against the law in Pennsylvania to have a weapon if you've been involuntary committed or been diagnosed with mental illness. That's why he racked up the gun charge.

So I guess there is some history there..

Well in most states - the threshold is VERY high to prove insanity. If you conceal your crime, then clearly you know right from wrong. He set all of this up and went to great pains to cover his tracks (even if he did a sloppy job)...

This dude knew what he was doing..

I just heard on my local news that Cosmo is claiming/bragging that he has killed other people. Authorities are looking for unsolved murders in the region over the past few years that might match up with the information he's given them.

It wouldn't surprise me, that's for sure.

I believe a person could be mentally ill but the legal issue is: did they know right from wrong and clearly by trying to cover up the crime they both knew what they did was wrong.
