Ex-doctor loses appeal of murder conviction

Former Wellesley allergist Dirk K. Greineder has lost his latest attempt to overturn the life sentence he is serving for murdering his wife, Mabel, in a Wellesley park in 1999.

In a 42-page ruling Thursday, the Supreme Judicial Court rejected Greineder’s argument that his Norfolk Superior Court trial was constitutionally flawed because a DNA _expert summarized results of forensic tests performed by _another person.

Hey Look who got out of Prison

S.A. residents help convicted murderer bounce back into society

SAN ANTONIO -- After spending over a decade behind bars on a murder sentence, itís not always easy trying to bounce back into the community. However, thatís what one Texan is trying to do with the help of some San Antonio residents.
ďI donít wake up one single day without feeling shamed still held for what I did,Ē said Tracey Tarlton.

Rae Carruth’s son and an incredible story of forgiveness

At age 12, Chancellor Lee Adams can barely speak, is mostly confined to a wheelchair and can’t feed himself. He’ll always be severely disabled because before he was born his father, then-Panthers receiver Rae Carruth, hired two people to murder the unborn Chancellor and his mother, Cherica Adams, so that Carruth wouldn’t have to pay child support

It’s a horrifying story, except that as the story is told in this week’s Sports Illustrated, it’s actually a touching story about the loving way Chancellor has been raised by his grandmother, and the forgiveness that Chancellor’s grandmother has shown toward Carruth, who is in prison for conspiracy to commit murder and is expected to be released in about six years.

Inside story: What happened to the unborn son Rae Carruth tried to kill

In June I drove to Charlotte to meet a boy who should have been dead. And if not dead, at least miserable. The boy had permanent brain damage. He could barely walk. He could say only one or two words at a time. He was 12 years old, and his grandmother still fed him by hand. His mother was dead. His father was in prison for arranging her murder.

Appeals court upholds Dossett Leath conviction

The conviction of Raynella Dossett Leath for the 2003 shooting death of her husband will stand, a three-judge panel of the Tennessee Court of Appeals has ruled.

And there is no evidence that trial Judge Richard Baumgartner, whose drug problems later forced him off the bench and landed him in a federal work camp, was impaired during either of Dossett Leathís two trials, the appeals court held

Nashville-convicted murderer Perry March is trying for the US Supreme Court.

http://www.jrn.com/newschannel5/news...283759231.html

The weirdest thing about this story is his choice of counsel. He's using local prominent defense attorney John Herbison, whose license is currently suspended for, among other things, failing to file an appeal with the Court. Herbison is supposed to be taking another big Nashville case to trial, and that has been postponed until he's once again allowed to practice.

http://jenssoering.com/ This is the first streamed trial I ever watched except for a live trial I attended in my hometown.

I just don't understand why convicted killers don't admit to their crimes..just going on about doubt...They are both guilty and where they should be. He just thought he would get diplomatic immunity and he did not
